Socio-Techno Ventures (59stVentures) is a network of like-minded veterans happy
to contribute their network, knowledge, and experience to society.
We focus on
helping PMETs (Professionals, Managers, Executives, and Technicians) in
continuous learning, providing advisory or consultancy, and networking within
industries through various forms of social networks. Our current focus is in
the healthcare and education industries. We conduct courses in 5G, IoT, AI,
digital transformation, Industry 4.0, smart cities, human factor design, etc.,
encompassing both technical and non-technical aspects. We are appointed
veterans by NUS, SUSS, Huawei, the Fintech Academy, and partners in the Middle
East and Africa to deliver courses. We are advising startups such as Novocare
Shenzhen and Soteria Taiwan in venturing into Southeast Asia. We also recommend
industry veterans for adjunct opportunities in educational institutes. Our
network is global, with the strongest foothold in Asia, including China and
India, as well as Israel.

aims to provide a fundamental understanding of 5G technology, how it will
impact and transform various industry verticals, and new business use cases.
Public Health Informatics is the systematic application of Information, Computer Science and Technology to Public Health practice. Public health has always been about disease surveillance and management, particularly the identification of major disease outbreaks. This course examines technology and systems applications in support of Public Health Informatics, identifies resources available to assist in disaster management, examines key issues with respect to Information Technology for populations and healthcare providers, and discusses implications of Public Health Informatics to improve patient and population outcomes. This course also discusses Telehealth as it has the unique capability of achieving health equity by crossing temporal, social, and geographical barriers to healthcare.
This course
teaches requirement analysis and design definition for digital solutions in
business needs analysis, which involves three steps: specifying and modeling
requirements, verifying and validating requirements, and defining solution
options and recommending solutions.
